How Students Use OwnedIt
Teachers will create an assignment and send you a link. Simply click the link and login to get started with your monitored assignment. Your teacher will have either assigned you a Lite assignment or a Pro Assignment.
OwnedIt Lite Assignments
For basic monitoring and assignments
Your teacher will create an assignment and send you a link to a Google Docs, Google Slides, or Google Sheets assignment. Once you open the link you will be prompted to login to your OwnedIt account. You will not have access to this document until you install the OwnedIt Chrome Extension. Once you have downloaded it, an action bar will appear which will allow you to share your screen and start your assignment.
How to Create a Student Account
All students must create an account on OwnedIt through our sign-up page which can be found here. Schools with custom integrations provide details directly to their students.
Join Courses Online
Students can also join courses directly through our web platform. Once you have an account, you can log in and join courses using course codes provided by your instructors.
